Passport to Emory
Passport to Emory is a pre-departure onboarding program for F-1/J-1 international students who will begin their undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at Emory University in Fall 2024.
This free, in-person program will offer helpful information related to pre-departure, immigration, campus resources, cultural awareness, and so much more. Passport to Emory will help smooth your transition and prepare you for a successful Emory student experience.
The program includes:
- a presentation for both incoming students and their invited guest
- an opportunity to meet representatives from Emory University
- a networking break during which students and family members can connect with one another
This year, Passport to Emory will be held in three locations:
Individual invitations are being emailed to F-1/J-1 international students living near Passport to Emory locations.
- Please register using the link in the invitation-only email you will receive with your Emory I-20/DS-2019.
- Registration is required by May 22, 2024, to attend.
- You may include up to one guest when you register.
- If you would like to attend and missed the email invitation, please email isss@emory.edu.
- Please note that all attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event sites and any other expenses.
The Passport to Emory program is one of the ways Emory University demonstrates its appreciation and support for the international students who choose to make Emory their home. If you are unable to attend this year’s Passport to Emory, ISSS and our partners will be reaching out to you in the coming months to warmly welcome you to the Emory community. Please review our dedicated New Student webpage and stay tuned for invitations to helpful webinars for incoming students and their family members.
